Respite and Palliative Care

The role of a caregiver brings many challenges. There seems to never be enough time, or energy, to provide the level of care that we would like to give to a loved one. We respect the feelings of our loved ones and want to help them live with dignity. Perhaps occasional respite care might be the answer.

Sometimes we need a break. We need to take care of ourselves so that we have the energy and wellness to provide support to those we love. It is so easy to feel guilty about needing a break.

For many caregivers who use ElderSafe home health care services the need is for someone to be with a loved one while they are at work. We are frequently called when a family or couple is going on holiday or away for the weekend. They know that they can count on ElderSafe Support Services to care for their loved one while they are away.

24 hour Live-in Care

ElderSafe caregivers are available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Our caregivers are trained to provide both care and companionship. With nurse supervisors on call twenty-four a day you have the peace of mind that there is always someone nearby to care for your loved one.

There is a dedicated team of caregivers at ElderSafe Support Services who specialize in providing compassionate end of life care. We support individuals who wish to spend their final days at home. We sit with clients in the hospital or other facility who wish companionship. We provide relief for families who need a break during the final, trying days.
